These terms and conditions shall apply to all sales through Bohusläns Museum and will exclude application of any deviating general or specific conditions or terms of byers. No waiver or modification of these Conditions of Sale shall be binding upon Bohusläns Museum, unless approved in writing by an authorized representative of Bohusläns museum. Make sure you read and understand the terms before you place your order.
Bohusläns Museum applies the Consumer purchase law, Distance and Doorstep Sales Act and The General Data Protection Regulation. In order to carry out a purchase, one must as a customer be at least 18 years of age. A customer refers to a natural person, company or organization. A placed order is binding when completed and you have received an order confirmation to the specified emailadress stated. In case of large intake of orders or delivery delay from suppliers certain products may be out of stock.
All products are stated in Swedish crowns and includes Swedish VAT. In the shopping cart you can see the total price including all fees, taxes and shipping. Other taxes or fees levied in each country are paid by the recipient.
An automatic order confirmation will be sent to the specified email address. When your package reaches the delivery point, an avi is sent via sms if no other information is specified.
Method of payment
The only valid payment is by credit or debitcard, valid card types are VISA or Mastercard. All card payments are made via an encrypted connection through Dibs payment switch.
For orders outside of Sweden we use DHL and UPS. Delivery time is approximately 7 days, depending on current stock. The parcel will be delivered to your nearest agent. For overseas orders the shipping time might be longer due to the transporter. If a product has another delivery time or is out of stock this will be stated in connection to the individual product when ordered.
During certain periods there may be longer delivery times such as in the months of July and December, place your orders well ahead. Bohusläns Museum is not responsible for delays caused by the shipping companies used and cannot be held responsible for products withdrawn or sold out. Upon delivery of damaged goods the buyer is obliged to report this to the freight company upon pickup or delivery. If the product is damaged when opening the package the buyer must contact us within 7 days after delivery for complaint.

You have the right to return your purchase within 14 days. The item should be unused and returned in its original packing without damage. Return freight is payed by customer with a freight company providing a trackingnumber. This is since it is the customers responsibility that the returned goods will not disappear during freight. When returning a product customer should contact us either through mail or by phone. We do not redeem goods thar are sent against cash on delivery. Bohusläns Museum reserves the right to charge a fee of 300 swedish crowns in case the ordered goods are not picked up by the customer and it is returned to Bohusläns museum.
Bohusläns Museum shall, if under juridiction of our return policy, refund you what you have paid for the product as soon as possible but latest 30 days of the product being returned or you informing us about the regret of purchase.
Bohusläns Museum is not liable for any non-performance caused by circumstances beyond our control, which directly or indirectly prevents, obstructs or renders production, delivery or freight uneconomical until such obstacle has been removed (force majeure). Such circumstances shall be deemed to include difficulties to procure the raw materials as well as other difficulties and disturbances, including but not limited to war, riot, labour conflicts, fire, flood, storm, accident, fuel or power shortages, transportation shortages, obstacles or interuptions regarding transportation at sea and breakdowns or interuptions of any kind as regards to equipment or facilities, which deemed necessary for the performance of our agreements obligations.

What information we use? We process personal data given to us in connection with a purchase/invoicing. Example of information: name, contacts such as adress, e-mail, phone number, identification number, payment information etc. Purpose for processing personal data is administration in connection with eg your purchase in our web shop or in our store. In order to be able to fulfill our commitment as a supplier, we must be able to save and process contact information.
Who has access to this information? Your information is only handled by authorized persons within our organization.
How long do we keep your data? Personal data needed for processing and administer a purchase or other orders is not saved longer than necessary to carry out the service. According to accounting legislation we save the necessary information for 7 years. If you give consent to mailing for marketing purposes, this information is saved until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information and terminate further marketing.Your information can in some cases be saved a longer than what is mentioned here, if we owe it according to law, authority decision or regulation.
What do you have for opportunities? At any time you have the right to revoke consent, which means that we will not use your information for the purpose you have previously given your consent to. However the information may be needed for another purpose according to this policy. At any time, without charge, you have the right to know the information Bohusläns Museum have registered about your person. If the information is erroneous, incomplete or irrelevant you may ask to have your information corrected and/or removed.
